I've been contemplating my career lately. I like my job and love the people I work with, so all in all, I'm pretty happy. But, this isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life. I would eventually like to move to a beach in Mexico and write a book. I interviewed a young musician recently and I asked him what a 'normal day' was like for him. He said he gets up in the morning or afternoon, eats cereal, rides on the subway to someplace different, listens to other peoples' conversations, then walks for a long time. He's also educating himself on French authors like Rimbaud and Baudelaire.

I'm so jealous of his life. seriously.

Whatever. I have to go write about cute boys now.
