burns! they burn, i say!
MY EYES BURN! WHY!? They started hurting when I got off the train this morning. I thought it was just something in my eye and ignored it, but then it got progressively worse and worse. So, I had to make a trip the DR to get some contact solution. Took out my contacts, cleaned them, flushed out my eyes... and yet my EYES BURNED. They were tearing like a waterfall! Then, I got paranoid that I had somehow scratched my eyeball or something. Oh well, they still kinda hurt now, but it's getting better. Everyone say a prayer for me, ok? thanks!
I'm listening to Pavement now. They make me feel happy, like home to me.
This Wednesday I get on a plane to Califorrrrniiaaa! It'll be nice to be home, especially with my dad's operation and everything. Hopefully the weather will be spanktastic, and I'll be able to walk through the park with all the pretty Oak trees. I miss nature! Not that a park in an upper middle class neighborhood qualifies as "nature," but it'll tide me over until I go to the REAL nature. ummm.. yeah.
I finally purchased a digital camera through amazon.com. Seriously, I read so much on digital cameras. I wanted to know what the best one was for my money. I'm a saavy consumer, you see? Anyway, I was talking to my mom last night and she was like: "Oh, don't worry about it. We can pay for it." And I was like: 'Mom. No. I really can pay for it.' She knows I don't make a lot of money, so -- bless her heart -- she is so generous, but I want to PAY FOR IT ON MY OWN. Plus, it's not like my parents are rich or anything. They're both retired, and while I get the feeling that they are living the high life in spite of their very modest lifestyle, THEY DON'T NEED TO PAY FOR MY DIGITAL CAMERA!!! It makes me feel like such a spoiled brat (which I already am, in relative terms).
anyway, now it's an hour later and I ate a large burrito for lunch, so I have to rest now.
