so danged disappointed

i was so excited about glee. i really was. and i honestly gave it a chance. i tried to like it.

i should have known it was going to be lame when they hyped up the pilot episode for the summer.......and then just re-ran the pilot episode up until the show began last week.

it's not silly. it's not fun.

it's high schoolers who take themselves too seriously. and sex. pretty in your face, too, which is rather uncomfortable since these are supposed to be high schoolers. not 90210 sex drama. kids using sex to sell their ideas. even the supposed smart girl doesn't use her intelligence to win friends and influence people. she uses sex. and if the show were actually written well, the hyper-stereotypical characters (there's a better way to phrase that, i'm sure) would be hilarious. instead, they're ridiculous.

lame.

it's just not even interesting.

and by the way, costume people: know what something is before you use it as an accessory. if i were awesome at the internet i'd be able to find a screen clip of the guidance counselor last week and her nifty little piece of jewelry. i'm not. she had a short, delicate gold chain that clipped from one collar point to the other.

that's not what it's for, people. it's a sweater clip. used by such classy women as your grandmothers to keep their sweaters on their shoulders without needing to actually wear the sweater.

i'm finding myself stupefied that it's been four months since i've said anything on here, and the last thing i posted was about glee. if you want to know what i've been up to, read the blog.

that's all, folks.

i miss you.
