the recent and semi-recent
Senior trip could not be summed up in any entry.. no matter the length. Heres some short thoughts.. I was so grateful to kick back and relax, I believe its gotten me ready to be serious, the fact that high school is over is kicking in and I'm ready to go to college for the next eleven years and who cares if its eleven years? Life flys by, and medicine is what i want to do, school or work, same thing. Besides the seriousness.. I soo enjoyed my first time on the beaches of Florida. Hanging out w/ the girls, staying at the beach house w/ the rest of my pals, and meeting new people. Unforgettable. I miss the atmosphere there but I did miss home towards the end; I look forward to many more beach vacations...
Well on a more recent note I'm picking up more shifts at the Sizzlin. I start August 23rd at the Aerospace Studies office in the military science building at LSU. Sounds cool, I guess I'll see how it works out; hopefully study time.
Since I've just finished the book White Oleander, I've declined the invitation of Hooter's and bowling w/ Ross's clan and I'm going to chill on my sofa tonight and watch the movie. Long day at the hospital. So last but not least, I'll make my Nanny's baby announcement: Estelle Marie (after my Grandma) was born today at 2:36, very healthy and alert. I held her probably only 1-2 hours into her life. I can't wait to babysit.
