After a crazy ass day at work (the piles were insane and I went on a hunt for all kinds of missing items, which I found all of but one)
jazzgirl03 and I went to the gym, where I burned 450 calories on the eliptical. I know I'm not in as horrible shape as I could be as I managed to keep up a conversation with
jazzgirl03 while working out. I did my fat percentage and even though I gained weight from my medicine change (which I am off of thank you Jesus), I must have more muscle because it only varied by 1-2%. We tried to go out to eat, but there wasn't anywhere open other than The Pantry. I had a tasty ass sandwich though. Then headed over to a friend's and we went out to Blue Monday at the Garden. I haven't been there in ages, let alone on a Monday. I went with a friend from my place of work, and met two new people who are pretty interesting. Saw some familiar faces (hello bouncers who don't card me because they know me, not because I look old thankfully), and some random students. Some guy was saying hello to me, and I honestly didn't know him, and he isn't my type anyway as he had this mountain mannish thing going on. Not down with facial hair and scruffiness, yuck. Read some graffiti in the bathroom, however some of the BEST stuff has disappeared, sigh. Like a dumbass I sat outside on a METAL chair for over an hour and froze my ass off. I was very thankful for the heated seats in my Subaru, but my ass is still cold an hour later.
One of my squirrelly sororitah sistahs called and I am REALLY hoping she comes back Friday and goes with me to Oregon this weekend. I finally got time off to go down there (I changed my plans for the Holidays and wish I hadn't so I could have seen my cousin before she went back to school) and move my broken couch. I also would get to see my family and spend time with my dear sister, who I am really close to. She's going to call and let me know tomorrow. I think on MLK Jr. Day I'll be going to Spokane for some enjoyment of cuisine and a foreign film, and of course retail therapy. My feelings for Nordstroms and Pottery Barn are not a secret.
Oh and it looks like I got a raise at work, watch out for me and my forty cents.
