Room 330- Wednesday evening

Annie's geekiness this week had not yet even begun.

So she was running for Student Council. Really, it was a foregone conclusion with someone like her, even if she felt a little bad when she submitted her name for it. She hadn't made a single thing up. She really had been on yearbook committee, it was just that she hadn't been popular enough to actually be in it. And she'd helped plan homecoming! She just, you know, hadn't been invited to go. Which, now that she thought about it, really sucked because her boyfriend at the time had gone. And, okay, she'd done all that and maintained a 4.0 but she'd also done it with the help of Adderall and also she'd had a nervous breakdown because of it.

That, she decided, was not the point. The point was, she felt comfortable enough putting herself out there for a position where people would vote her in to represent them, and she knew she could do the job well. She liked that point much better.

She was immediately throwing herself into campaigning, too. Her floor and bed were already covered in posterboards that she was going to have to spend tomorrow afternoon taping up all over the halls, and she had drawn out several ideas for flyers to hand out. Was there a Kinko's around here? She'd have to look into that. And even as she sat on the floor, making yet another poster, she was trying to come up with other ideas to get her name out there. Like buttons! Ooh, she could make buttons...

[I apologize now for the absolute gleeful fun I am going to have with this. Door and post are open!]
