Annie's apartment- Greendale, CO- Monday
Today, Annie became a real college student. Okay, so it was a community college, which people kept reminding her wasn't a real school, but it was real because she'd been there and she was going to learn things and suck it, naysayers. She was really optimistic about it, too. She was confident she could make it work, and this was a fresh start.
Well. Mostly a fresh start. At the very beginning of her Spanish class, she'd looked around to see who was there, and she spotted him.
Troy Barnes. In her class. Just like high school only better because she was a brand new person!
So now that she was home, Annie had set aside time for studying, and time for some recreational stalking. She was engaging in the latter now, Googling his name and checking his Facebook and trying to figure out everything she could about him from the last year and a half that she'd been out of Riverside High. It was all totally normal, and not at all creepy. Promise.
It was a little creepy.
