CRITERION THEATRE!!!!!
i just saw the cri on tv! channel 4 are doing a special competition, and the winner gets to have a play they wrote performed on the west end stage! and that west end stage just happens to be the stage at the CRITERION THEATRE!!! one and only previous home of the Reduced Shakespeare Company!
i see that the Criterion are finding it tough to find new inhabitants for such a small theatre... even the play which took over only stayed for half the time it was supposed to be on for. i recon that they've put a curse on it... perhaps the ghost of hamlet's father... or macbeth's cursed head... or perhaps that sock that John accidentally left behind the radiatior after a particularly wet Ophelia scene...
we'll never know.... unless of course we ask the theatre management.
