It seems to me that one thing we should definitely take away from this crazy primary season is that our process needs to be revised desperately. Super delegates don't make much sense at all and then throw that on top of awkward caucuses and winner takes all states (which is not representative of the population at all) and with a race for nomination as close as this one it is frustrating that all these asinine technicalities could possibly change who is nominated entirely.

I will sign the petition you posted here, but I think it may be time to start demanding that the Democratic Party rethink their nomination process all together.

Oh, I cannot agree enough with you! This needs to be the first step to reforming a really broken system. I think we also should have pressured Obama's campaign to agree to redo the vote in Michigan and Florida. How can you tell 2 states that their votes don't count?! and how can the same 2 states go first every year!? Iowa and New Hampshire basically get to hand pick the Democratic Party's candidate every year. And on top of that; there should be no super delegates, and states like Texas need to change there system. In Texas, 1/3 of the people get to revote in caucuses after the major primary voting, allowing their votes to be counted twice, and in places like Nevada, votes in rural areas are worth more than in urban areas!
