Happy Family Time
11/11/11 what a cool date huh? well it was extra cool because that was my step-mom, Dori's 80th birthday and she was having a huge birthday bash, I was totally the ninja and didn't tell ANYONE that i was coming, not my sisters, definitely not my mom, I flew in, booked a room at the hotel that the party was at and as the day got closer, the party was last night actualy, I got more and more excited, I was sitting in the lobby with my moms best friend who is also from Ogden and she and her husband were flying in..so we were sitting in the beautiful lobby of the Livonia Marriott in Livonia Michigan, my step sisters and several of their kids walked off the elevator, I didnt see them until they turned the corner and the looks on their faces when they saw me, OMG, was SO SO amazing! it was like shock and a little confusion and then we all just started laughing and hugging and they couldnt stop being so excited when I told them I had flown in to surprise my mom, after I saw them, i was even more excited for the party later last night, when I finally got to the party, my mom was already in the room where the party was being held and my aunt saw me and we all squealed and hugged, huge grins all around, she grabbed her oldest son who was taking pictures of the party to take my picture as I walked in, so I went in and when my mom saw me, oh my gosh, she was so sweet and put her hands up to cover her mouth and started to cry as I got closer, I was afraid that she would pass out or something, and my heart just overflowed and then the rest of my family was there and my sister Amanda walked in and we saw each other and she made a beeline to me...*happy sigh* it was the most fun amazing night and I'm so glad I went and surprised her and everyone *giggles* it was SO hard not to tell anyone what I was doing! I stayed up until 630 this morning chatting with my best friend and playing on Second Life until my cab to the airport arrived..I love my family so much and everything is so much sweeter knowing they are there and have my back. I am going to do a way better job of staying in touch with everyone, fortunately a lot of them are on Facebook.I came home and went and got my Louie from where he was being boarded and then took a monster nap, I was sooo tired! but happy and missing my family already.
