Alternate Universe, sort of
Hi all! I'm searching for this story where Sheppard didn't go to Atlantis so he can take care of his father who just had a heart attack. But sadly, he becomes crippled after a horseback riding accident. And his father even said that Sheppard had now become a burden.:( But then, somehow, Sheppard finds himself in Atlantis. He still switches back to the original reality but he wants to go back to Atlantis. He dies because of blood poisoning, I think, and it's their butler who seems to be the only one to mourn his passing. And then Sheppard finds himself in Atlantis permanently. I hope that makes sense. I don't know if this is a McShep pairing or not. Any leads would be greatly appreciated! Many many thanks!
