We have had a couple of lovely sunrises lately - after what seems like months of cloud cloud cloud and the sun only appearing mid morning or later. So here are two of them. The first one is 20th February

and the second one is this morning's - the sun had not come up from behind that low bank of cloud, but there was a reflection that looked as though the sun were halfway between the banks.

I still have to take sunrise pics from the bedroom window as the sun hasn't moved far enough north to allow me to take it through a clean sunroom window! I can wipe a goodly portion of one narrow pane, and so get pics without the dirt spots - which you can't see if I fiddle around with paint shop and sizing!!! Double glazing tends to create a reflection if I don't get the angle right - worse in the bedroom for some reason, than the sunroom. There is a big window in the sunroom with a screen that I can remove if I must have a pic without a window between me and the subject. But the hawk I've been waiting for never rested this winter on the antenna of the apartment across the road. Really disappointing now that I've got a camera that would take a better close-up than the HP!

The reflection of the sun in the second pic wasn't due to the window, but just the atmosphere above those clouds.
