So cute~ Shizu-chan... I actually can't believe that Shizuo is as thoughtful as to not let his family and friends getting involved in his situation... Well, I couldn't help thinking how unusual... Is that even in his character? Well, I can't wait to know what was in that message.
Personally I believe Narita still has a firm hold of his character. Shizuo is not dumb, and I think the previous volumes do show that he's a calm thinker (in his own way) when his rage doesn't take over his entire being. If he's thoughtful enough to realize that beating up all the Awakusu-kai men was not the solution, then I'd say it's totally reasonable that he would realize he might risk getting others involved. And don't forget this is a man who has been set up, tricked and framed by Izaya since high school, and by now he should have had some idea of what this may be getting him into.
Oh Shizuo~ You lovely man. I love the irony of him worrying about Awakusu-kai hurting Akane. Narita is good at mix-ups/misinformation driven plotlines.
Yesssss! Finally, I've got a grasp on Shizuo's adorable thought process. This is just beautiful *sob* And oh, God. I want to know what Izaya sent him so badly now.
Thank you so, so, so much for taking up such a large project and translating the light novels. You have no idea how grateful I am to you. If we ever meet in real life, I would buy you... something cool. I'm not sure what though o__o;;
