This line confuses me. I assume at some point Namie must... get closer to Kida in order to care? O_o Because otherwise it just seems totally out of the blue.

Well, I knew that, but it's the phrasing that throws me. It's like 'wait, why does she care that Kida was hurt?'

Yeah, that caught me off guard too. Maybe there's a chance she felt bad for getting Kida into serious trouble by informing Horada about his friendship with Mikado?

Namie expressing some base cocern for Kida isn't that surprising, by the time this happened they have been working for Izaya for several months I think. But if stalkergirl taped the room, then she thinks Kida and Mikado don't know about each other? "Mikado is leader of Dollars"(paraphrasing, Izaya says so outright in this room in a conversation with Kida, how did she miss this?
