Etsusa Bridge.

...People have been wrong. Durarara is not the Japanese Baccano - it's way too tame to begin with, not to mention the anime just tames it further. The two things that drive Durarara's plot? Izaya Information and sickly love. OK, maybe only sickly love. (And I mean sickly with all the love in the world.)

Etsusa Bridge is the real Japanese Baccano. It's packed with action, killers and batshit. Oh, and immediate awesome. I have yet to find a single boring character. God, especially the girls, they make me weak in the knees. I seriously do hope this series gets animated. It has the potential to both be better than Baccano and sell better than Baccano.

Ahhh. Sell, Durarara, sell, 'cause Etsusa Bridge and Vamp! deserve animation so so much.

Extra note:
Etsusa Bridge also shares the same universe with Baccano!, Durarara!! and Vamp!. The Hariyama-san series is the only series out of Narita's current five that doesn't share the same universe with the others.
Possible points of intersection with Durarara:
The friend of Aoba's who gave his gang the name Blue Square appears in Etsusa Bridge some 15 years later. (Etsusa is set around 2014-2019, Durarara about 2002-2003.)
Kuzuhara Kinnosuke in Durarara has a son who's in the same class as Mikado - his name is not revealed but he very probably grows up to be Kuzuhara Souji, one of the major characters in Etsusa.
