In which I justify this morning's sleepy-eyed state
It was a jam-packed weekend. Party at The Boy's place Friday night (I met his very nice friends), bachelorette party Saturday night, Patti Griffin concert with The Boy last night. I still managed to unpack my books, however.
The highlights:
* Watching you-know-who play guitar for everyone at the party. Everything they say about the aphrodisiac power of boys with guitars is true true TRUE. It's like having my own personal rock star. Along with a backstage pass. *grin*
* The amazing lip-synching drag queen at the Kit-Kat Lounge, where we had the bachelorette party. During one number, she twirled around so her dress flew up and you could see her g-string, and we all had the same thought: Where does she put that thing?
* Listening to Patti Griffin sing "Wade in the Water." Whew.
The wedding is this weekend. My mom visits the weekend after that. And then I will commence doing jack shit.
