the romance sims of downtown pleasantview
I've taken to the habit of titling any folders related to these sims as "The Romance Kids", seeing as three out of four of them are romance sims while the other is a pleasure sim. I know, I'm very creative. Let me just say now, I love playing these guys. They're a riot, and with ACR it's guaranteed to be an interesting week. Anyway, I've moved them into a new house I made especially for them, because I figured they needed a bachelor/bachelorette-type of living space to suit their lifestyles. Plus, the boy, Finnick Dreamer, is a brand new college grad who bumped up the original household number to four. They needed the room!
I'm in love with this house, which I designed with this in mind, so I decided to do a little photo shoot of it, accompanied by some shots of these young wild things. Well, except Lucy. Girlfriend's getting old.

Lifetime Want: Become a Visionary
For all her disinterest in art, Lucy's really determined to reach the top of that career track, even though it's taking her like, ages. Although Maxis describes her as a sweet girl with a knack for trouble, I honestly see her as a young woman who doesn't have much drive, or much consideration for that matter, as she'll sleep with married men (Don Lothario, husband of Nina Caliente) and even her younger sister's boyfriend (Michael Caliente, son of Dina and Mortimer Goth). So... not very sweet, and more trouble than Maxis originally described. As soon as he became of legal age, Finnick Dreamer became Lucy's main squeeze, so naturally he has moved in with her... although it seems like he won't be staying for long.

Laila is either the second or third child of John and Jennifer Burb. I'm not sure who came first, her or her twin sister, Lollie, who is settled down with Alexander Goth, content in her three-bolt relationship. Anyway, Laila wasn't someone to go out and flirt with other sims on her own, so I took the liberty of finding her a college dormie she shared two bolts with. Once Laila graduated, she and Lucy bought themselves a small trailer where they lived peacefully together. Unlike Lucy, Laila is quickly and easily climbing the ladder to reach the top of the Culinary career track. With her career quickly taking off, Laila had her college sweetheart move in.

Lifetime Want: Woohoo with 20 Different Sims
Sadie doesn't really have any hope for her LTW, considering that many of the female variety don't swing her way, and if they do, well she sure as heck interested in them... unless they were a Burb sister, all of whom she has shown signs of attraction toward. Too bad Sadie, you're only allowed one Burb and that's Laila! She seems happy though, and she's quite content as a Party DJ. Maybe she'll feel comfortable with having a joined union someday?

Lifetime Want: Woohoo with 20 Different Sims
As the perfect mixture of his parents Cassandra and Darren Dreamer, Finnick is attractive beyond a doubt, but he's still plenty shy. With a personality like that, it's hard to imagine him putting the moves on girls, but he does it without fail. Why, his last conquest was an alien vampire who won't stop calling him! With Lucy as his main girl and many girls on the side, Finnick is fast-approaching his goal of woohooing with twenty sims, but there's a little problem. During college, he met an underclassman named Ariel Gregory (Angela Pleasant's daughter with a townie) who refuses to give into his advances. Well, Finnick likes challenges apparently, because he only rolls wants with her! She's a Family sim, and clearly she won't get into bed unless there's a ring on her finger. Luckily for her, Finnick has rolled the want to get engaged. Good thing she's still at Sim State, because Finnick needs as much time as he can to fulfill his LTW before getting the ole ball and chain! Guys, can you tell I love Finnick and all the drama he's wrapping himself up in?

Funny, the art supplies clutter up Lucy and Finnick's room but I'm pretty sure Laila's the one who uses the easel.
Finnick has a peculiar interest in science fiction. I just remembered he has yet to meet his niece, Milly Dreamer, who's the alien spawn of his twin sister Madeleine.
Both Sadie and Laila share the interest of travelling, with Laila more interested in fashion and Sadie more interested in culture.
I think that explains all the decor in their room.
I'm so excited to actually play this household that I think I'll skip right to it once I finish the Brokes. My customized Downtown is so fun to play in!
