I always feel kind of silly reporting back on my life...especially since I am not
effortlessly funny or cool or whatever, but mostly because my life these past couple of weeks has been spent in awe of the fact that "reasonable" classes are...well, reasonable. I actually have free time occasionally. it's strange. of course,
MLC doesn't have its first meeting until this sunday, planning
our formal doesn't start until...tomorrow, and in the meantime, of course I went job hunting. of course I'm waiting tables again. for significantly less money, but nonetheless.
also,
ken completely surprised me with an awesome package smelling of coconut and vanilla. it doesn't get much better than that...being a master of olfactory and all :)
evanston weather is indecisive and mostly just shitty, so everyone's been getting sick and I'm sitting here gulping down vitamin c supplements...theoretically they aren't supposed to do much. hm.
what else: I took bubbe out to breakfast (ha), went to our penn state game drunk, left while we were still winning, AND avoided the rain. though I'm not sure whether that was entirely worth the replacement experience. right berto? had an amazing shiitake roll at a random sushi dinner with miriam and lulu; signed up for
dance marathon; celebrated kasia's (13th) birthday with a rousing game of drink the beer; spent two hours in the study abroad office deciding where to spend half a year in spain; skipped class for the first time.
not bad so far, but the other day I noticed that for the 19th year in a row, I'd failed to notice when the leaves had started changing colors.
