I had to take a break from studying property to report:
Common Interest Communities ---- scary entities
These are those sub-divisions, or condos.. or whatever, more often than not that all look identical, and they strive for this. They have CC and R's covenants, conditions and restrictions that keep them this way. What's scary is these types of developments are on the rise and it is projected in the future (I don't remember the exact time - 2020 or something like that, they will make upwards of 50% of our housing as we know it.
You can move into a CIC and basically have your constitutional rights taken away from you- freedom of speech, freedom of religion...and the list goes on.
This makes me really nervous. Are people really willing to give up these freedoms so can they live in cookie-cutter houses?
Do I want to raise a kid in this kind of world with this mentality....ugh it gives me chills.
