I've been so swamped by real life and so out of touch with fandom lately, but I at least wanted to come back to this.

I guess I don't realy understand why you feel you should self-censor. Us gen folk or multishipper folk, whichever, don't have anything against people embracing their OTPs. I've had them for other shows, even. I think what irks us is when people don't even try to have an open-mind, insult us, belittle us, and make us feel like we're so obviously stupid and blind for being in denial.

Obviously, you don't treat fellow fans like that.

That's the difference.

So embrace your OTP. You deserve it :)

I love this "picture story"--it's just great! And I love Jack and Sam together (they're my OTP, too), as Team (with Daniel and Teal'c), in just about any form, actually.

I'm a shipper, and also a big fan of SG1 team and gen--when it's well written, and how lucky I am that this fandom has so many well written stories (including yours).

I just got an lj after wandering around in the fandom for nearly 3 years. May I friend you?
