I know!!! It was the wee hours of the morning, but I refused to live with ficathon guilt for one more moment so I blearily formatted and posted it only to discover I had stepped over the lj threshold for length. Oy. But now it is finally up. Thank goodness.

Hope I didn't annoy everyone to hell angsting over this one. lol

That was brilliant, so broken and beautiful. I love the way it goes round in circles, and Vala's been round so many times that there's hardly anything of her left. And the way fixing her, and ensuring no one knows how close they came to destruction allows Jack to heal. It makes sense because Jack's always seemed to live his life in secrets. I liked that. Well done, all the stress clearly went to a good cause. :)

Haha. I work well under pressure. I mean, I complain and make everyone miserable, but the pressure usually pays off in the end. Lol.

I am very glad the fic works for you! Sometimes I get so far into them I can't really tell anymore. :)

Cookies!!

I can't even express how happy I am to have this monster done. And the fact that you enjoyed it just makes it that much better. :)

Not to dark? I mean, I know it is, but I hope not too overboard. Heh.

No, not to dark at all. The darkness in it was well balanced and necessary. Sort of like a lovely piece of dark chocolate, bitter, yet oh so satisfying.

I don't know how you keep coming up with these genius ideas for plots. And then executing them so brilliantly. I love your portrayal of Vala, especially. What a delicious treat to start the day. Thank you for sharing it.

Daw. Thanks! I don't know about brilliant, but I'm trying. :) I haven't played around with Vala too much yet and I find her pretty fascinating.
