Wanted: Beta Reader for Apocafic of Doom
Qualifications: Strong constitution, remorseless hatred of misplaced commas, honesty.
Duties will include: Placing fic on a 1-10 Scale of Suckage, relentless poking of plot to search out holes, recognizing Emo Overload in characters, highlighting confusing/useless/out of place passages, and reassuring the Author not to delete the entire thing (or not, depending on quality of product).
Compensation: Endless gratitude of Author, virtual cookies, bribery fic, and/or the possibility of a statue being erected in your honor in AnnerbLand.
