Doc Mac: What's up with Jack and his manpain?
Phryne, dismissively: Oh, TV Tropes Anger Born of Worry and now he doesn't want to be around me.

They are both so over Jack's manpain. Hahah! Phryne refuses to feed into the drama.
Also, refusing to marginalize Beatrice, and Phryne finding that some of Beatrice's seemingly strange coping mechanisms are actually rather helpful.
