Who else misses that show called Stargate SG-1?

I'm doing a re-watch with my 12 year old daughter. She missed out the first time through, being the youngest. We sped through the first eight seasons, but now we are bogged down. No (or little) Jack. Few Goa'uld. Ori everywhere. Her enthusiasm is flagging, especially since she finds the Ori significantly more scary than the Goa'uld.

Me? I've been wandering around looking under couch cushions and up on the higher cupboard shelves trying to find where all the Sam/Jack plot bunnies have hidden themselves. I miss them.

Hi! I need to do a rewatch some day. I'd rather not wait until my kidlet is 12 though. I agree, my interest also waned post-season eight. Nothing against Cam and Vala or Teal'c and Daniel. Just.... I am kind of narrowly focused. :)

I have so many unfinished fics. I just seem to lack the wherewithal to actually do anything about it. Sad times.

Oh but it's so much fun rewatching with the kidlets - we're watching Atlantis with them right now and the older one has the biggest Carter-crush. He was so mad when Woolsey took over. Mini-fandom explosion all over the living room! Lol.

Well, the two-year old is still in a fear phase. I don't think the fighting would go over well. Lol.

Ha. No, I guess not. When the younger one was that age, space battles were very hypnotic with the sound turned down low. The whole Ori arc might have been the reason supper got made at all.
