sigh. oh you amazing writer you. i so thoroughly enjoyed this. it was everything i want every time i read a sam/jack fic: angsty and heartwrenching and hopeful and happy-ending'd. i'm memory-ing this for sure.

this reality was so.. hopelessly heartbreaking. but I loved Jack the calm soldier, guarding his family to the last while sam tries to save the world.. any world

“Why exactly do you think I refused to leave your lab that last day?”
this has such perfect sam and jack voices. grim and sad.. but the worst is done.. theres only for them to find their way to some new hope.. lovely

“Please tell me you did not just propose to Sam in order to win eight-hundred dollars.”
ROTFLMAO!! neither would I actually... snicker. loved this. they are so great as a couple. a relaxed peace in them that is so comforting to feel..

It's funny, because the married, preggers Jack and Sam was originally supposed to be a sort of light one, not sure where that one took a wrong turn. Lol.

Oh how excited I was to see this was posted before I went to bed! A few reasons why I loved it (and this list is not all-inclusive):

-A cheese-less reality, heh
-Ignorance as a super-power, so them.
-Our own reality, I know it isn’t perfect, but…I still have a lot of faith in it. *sighs*
-Sam feeling guilty about her relief that Jack is alive and with her. I don't want to be a ghost. Go ahead and just break my heart, would ya? Gah, you're killin' me, Smalls.
-OMG! Please tell me you did not just propose to Sam in order to win eight-hundred dollars."
