lunch with a friend
I had lunch with Mike Peleaz today at Matsu, and it was such a fun time. I hadn't seen him all summer, and didn't get the chance to talk to him much while I was up at school. He loves New York, which I was so happy to hear. It's definitely a city thats not for everyone, but I knew he would really enjoy it. He's an engineering major at Columbia, and really likes his school.
He and Bella are still dating, which is amazing. So we were both able to talk about the long distance haul, and having to be so far from a banch of friends, he was great to talk to, such a smart smart guy. And very down to earth for those who dont know him. It was so nice to catch up, i love doing that. He asked if i liked canada and we talked about the city and stuff, haha and the socialised healthcare that he was happy to see me take advantage of. Ahh it was so dfun to talk to him in person, its been so long! Millie, he said you made the right choice on harvard vs columbia. He said that he thinks harvard is for the realy intelligent people who like to get things done, and that columbia is for really intelligent people who sill love to procrastinate on everything. Hahaha..... gotta love the girl who writes papers two weeks in advance :)
So thats all i did today. i bought new socks. WAHOO! gotta love em. 8 pairs for 17 dollars-and theyre reebok! i heart you kohls :)
well i am out, and ON TO SUMMER LEAGUE! ahhhhh i love lacrosse. love it love it love it. :)
shiiiiiiit have just had the realisation that charlie's birthday is in a month and have to have it mailed before the beginning of august.... crap crap crap i have no clue what to get her...
