This entire last week I was up in Vail helping facilitate a medical conference. 7 days of staying at a hotel are now behind me. It wasn't hard work, but it definitely kept me busy. Plus, I had to do part of my regular job while up there. To say I'm exhausted is an understatement. Several days this week I worked roughly 12 or more hours. All in the name of a job well done.
Having said that, my brain is completely fried. I keep meaning to get to my "To Do" list (which is personal and not business-related), but keep putting it off for things like 5 hours of sleep. Ha! There's been some good times in my week too, so I'm sharing a list of things that are good times.
Here's my shout-outs:
- Say hello to brigits_flame's February Contest winner. O yai! Though I have no idea how I managed to win. There were v v v v awesome entries the whole month. Beginner's luck, mais bien sur!
- The hotel had cable, and I had time between sessions (morning and afternoon), so I spent a couple of them watching the Dog Whisperer. His shows made me appreciate my dog all the more. Brody is a great beagle who respects me as his Pack Leader.
- To my new musical obsession. I tweeted about it, but this video is addicting. There's something about it that I simply can't escape. Rad.
- To Housekeeping. These are precious people when you're working your face off. Every night I'd get back to my room and find the bed turned down, new towels in the bathroom, and the light on. Was so nice.
- Lastly, but so not leastly (hee hee), to my two office-mates. Without them this week would have been an impossibility. Can't be two places at once, and they made just that idea possible. YAY! TEAMWORK!
