"Well, I don't remember who I am half the time. So, we've all got problems." Logan's skin itched. He wanted a fight or a fuck or he didn't know what but kissing Scott reminded him of how much he missed Jean -- as messed up as that was.
And that? In a nutshell is why this ship is awesome. Especially when Scott gets a little unhinged. I love him saying "Let's do this thing" like it's a mission -- (it occurs to me that I think I had him say that exact phrase about giving the eulogy at Jean's funeral. *boggles* *loves businesslike Scott*)
I think my favorite thing in here is that Scott was using Jean's shampoo and didn't even realize it -- but Logan did. It makes sense, since they lived together, Scott would just use what as there and there are so many things he wouldn't pay attention to that one gets lost in the shuffle, while for Logan it's the only thing.
Seriously, I love this to death, and I love that it is ultimately about all three of them. Also, I love Logan cutting the cigar with his blade, and just the whole smoking scene is hot. Well, the whole thing is hot. Damn. Hot.
*stops flailing now and thanks you again*

I'm glad Scott came out well for you. I don't think the movies give him a lot of character but I think he is an interesting and complicated guy. Messed-up and square all at the same time. I appreciate getting the chance to write about him and Logan, too, who is always great fun to write.
I loved the story you wrote for me. I think it's cool we got each other. That seems to happen a lot for me during the XMMFicathon.

And, yeah, I've done assignments for large-scale ficathons before, and sometimes ended up assigning people who made similar requests to each other -- I almost wrote your Scott/Logan, but I thought, "Gee that's similar to the request I made --" So glad you didn't feel the same way. Though I'm so glad you did this one, because I don't think I could have written the cigars and -- well, I love your metaphors.
