Tempting
From the moment he laid eyes on Sandra, Barney knew it wouldn't work out. After he went to see Tool, he realized why. Sandra was passionate, she was beautiful, she was intelligent, and she really believed in something. She believed in the fight to restore Vilena. She was meant to be there. She was everything he could have dreamed of in a woman, and that was the problem.
Barney was meant to be with the Expendables, meant for late nights at Tool's place in New Orleans or flying the plane far above the petty little fights of the people who were tied to the ground. He was meant for his brothers, the next mission, the team.
Sandra was everything Barney could have asked for in a woman, and that was why it never would have worked out.
It would have been far too tempting to stay.
