Travis

Travis finally rolled through Vancouver last night on their current tour promoting new album The Boy With No Name. It's been a few years since we last saw them, a few years where my musical tastes have altered slightly. However Travis is still very enjoyable and there's NO denying the charm of both Fran and Dougie. heart both of them, such sweet 'boy next door' type cuteness. Must be the dimples!

Show was great, they played loads of songs covering all their albums. Pratically a 2 hour set, woot! Rare that a band plays for 2 hours and plays all the crowd favourites from all albums. Where's the pretentious "we only play our new stuff" attitude lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but sometimes fans really want to hear some old goodies. Such a down to earth band with a great rapport with the crowd..cute cute CUTE! :) scottish accent charm.
Helped that we had fantastic seats, 6th row dead centre in front of Fran.
He once again did a song solo totally unplugged, unmic, fantatstic accoustics at The Centre for it. Must have a great voice to project voice with no mic through the whole hall. there's some youtube footage of it, however I won't post it. instead loving the cutest moment of the show, during the encore, acoustic Flowers in the Window.....loved when fran lets go of guitar and Dougie/Andy take over :)
