Wednesday Date Night
1. We went to Chili's for an early dinner at 6:15. We had the $20 special - an appetizer to share, two entrees from a selection of about 15, and a dessert to share. We had onion strings and jalapeno something for the appetizer. I had a mesquite-grilled chicken salad, while Mr. Annearchy had these little chicken quesedillas that looked yummy. For dessert we shared molten chocolate lava cake. Mmmm. He also had a beer, and I had a Long Island ice tea. The total bill was something like $32.50, so we had a good, very filling dinner for less than $40. And neither of us has had a bite to eat since.
2. Tomorrow I'll be working at the Wisconsin State Fair (yes, actual work, though I plan to eat a cream puff and a butterflied pork sandwich, if I can find them). See y'all tomorrow night, I hope.
