WE CAN HAS KITTEH ! ! ! 1 1 ! ! !
We have been approved to adopt the kitty we've been wooing at PetsMart. His name is Jakob, he's 5 years old, coal black, looks like he weighs maybe 12 lb. and DD absolutely adores him. He was a stray before someone took him to the Lakeland Animal Rescue Center in Elkhorn, WI, last year. He's been at our nearby PetsMart for at least a few weeks. Anyway, we went to PetsMart last night and they faxed our application to the shelter. I called the shelter an hour ago and was told we'd been approved. So we're going to pick him up tomorrow evening. WOOOOO!!!
Must buy kitty food (canned, to start) and litter tonight. We've already got much of the other stuff he will need. DD is over the moon ecstatic. Yay:)
