I wouldn't say it's snowing a lot but...
We've had at least 8 inches of snow since 11:30 p.m. last night. Weather dudette this morning (6:30) said it had been snowing 1-2 inches PER HOUR for the previous hour or two.
Every school in our viewing area is closed EXCEPT for UW-Madison, which is holding its final day of fall semester exams *pets herminia* DD's school sent us an email at 6:30 a.m. saying they would be closed. Mr. Annearchy won't be buying books today because (a) Goodwill is closed, (b) his employees can't get here, and (c) I doubt our street will be plowed before sometime Saturday - I hope before the next wave of snow (3-6 inches) arrives Saturday night. OY. Oh, I forgot the 20 mph winds. Such fun.
The snow has apparently brought with it a minor relapse on my cold. Lots of coughing. Good thing I'm not at work today, bothering people with my hacking.
