Monday miscellany
1. Today I went to some introductory Photoshop training. I've had Photoshop on my work computer for probably 2-3 years but never really had any idea what I was doing so all I could do was cropping and resizing and occasionally adding some text. I did learn some stuff today and I got a huge (350 page) user manual /workbook, but it all went by in a rush.
2. Weather was sucky. Temp maybe got to 40F. MAYBE. And there was sleet, or maybe even snow flurries. SO. NOT. READY. Plus I think our thermostat went berserk during the night. DD said she woke up around 2 a.m. because "It was 90 degrees in the living room." I hope we don't need to get it replaced, though better now than in mid-winter.
3. I carved my Barack-O-Lantern tonight. Tomorrow night I'll put a candle inside the bottom (I always cut the bottom off and dig out the inside that way. Now we've got some nice toasted pumpkin seeds to nosh on.
