1. Our kitchen faucet has been The Faucet from Hell for a very, very long time. It leaked, both above and below the sink. For a long time we could stop the leaking by shutting the faucet off "just so" (in a very complicated fashion). Eventually, maybe 2 months ago, even the "just so" thing didn't work any more, and we had leaking bad enough that we ( Read more... )

Hahaha Sorry, but your faucet installation story is amusing. Glad that you've got a working one!

Yeah it's definitely one of those "one day we'll look at this and it will all seem funny" stories.

But at least you have a new faucet, right? This how much annoyance this small change will remove from your life! Totally worth it. FWIW, we had to call in the neighbor, and then the professional after my hubby tried to fix a leak. I think yours did quite well by comparison.

Wow, June 13th seems late. Most schools around here finish this week. My kids have 4 more days, but all learning will stop on Tuesday. I don't know why they even bother with the last couple of days.

Will DD have to do summer school to make up lost time? I hope not.

Yes, the faucet IS totally worth it. Mr. A did quite well. *is proud*

Our schools don't start until the day after Labor Day (STATE LAW!!) and our school district had 2 weeks of Christmas vacation, plus about 5 snow days built in. Hence, June 13th. ugh. And as far as we know, she won't have to do summer school. Wheee.

Not only does my faucet work beautifully, but the not-totally-installed sprayer creates beeeyootiful soap bubbles that actually stick around for a long time. Me likey.
