No joy in Mudville
1. New York Giants 23, Green Bay Packers 20. Well that says it all. Congrats to the Giants and their fans - they played a great game and the Giants' kicker came through when he had to. Plus the Giants pretty much outplayed the Packers, who had a great season but couldn't pull it off when they needed to. Anyway, it'll be a Patriots/Giants Super Bowl. junesrose, you must be excited :D
2. I don't know how it can be 1F/-17C here and I've still got allergies o_O Though maybe staying inside because of the cold is giving me a headache. Though maybe I'm just really tired.
3. Speaking of #2, do any of y'all take Zyrtec for allergies? I see that it's going to be available OTC at Walgreen's starting on January 24th. I've been taking Claritin for awhile but it doesn't really help me much. I liked Allegra but when the copay went up to $35/Rx I gave it up. Anyway, opinions?
4. Has anyone read any books by Scott Westerfeld? I heard an interview with him on NPR Weekend Edition Saturday (yesterday) and I liked what I heard.
5. I had a weird dream last night. I dreamed I went into Darling Daughter's bedroom to ask her something and instead of having just 1 twin bed, there were 2, and there were also 6-7 kids in there besides DD, and one girl and one boy were snogging. I suppose this was my subconscious reminding me that she's hurtling toward puberty. *headdesk*
