Looks like we might be making a return trip to the drive-in for this one, possibly Thursday night (thus trying to avoid the "crowds" of opening night and the first Friday). It worked well enough for GOF, though this time I imagine we'll be taking the car and not my truck - trucks (even small ones like mine) have to park in the back two rows, and from that distance it was not unlike watching a movie on an iPod.

If I feel the need to talk about it, I'll hide things behind cuts, promise. =)

We're not going Friday in part because my husband's always exhausted on Friday evenings, and he wouldn't get home until after 7:00 pm anyway so that would nix the early evening show and he can't stay awake late enough for the later show :P Anyway, that must be neat to see it at a drive-in. I haven't been to a drive-in since about 19*cough*

I'm watching it tomorrow at the IMAX around noon. I really can't do a midnight screening because I feel as though I need to concentrate to enjoy the film fully and I can't do that at night... which is funny as I stay awake until 4 am all the time.

Poor Maya. HBP wasn't only horrible because of shipping, but JKR even managed to turn young kids away and that's just sad.

She was outraged and grief-stricken about Dumbledore. She cried for half an hour (well, I cried too, but not that long).

Our IMAX is sucky. The screen is only a little bigger than a normal screen and the seats are so close in that you have to go about an hour early to get a decent one that doesn't make your eyes explode.

I don't mind a few spoilers for the movie, but I don't want to see all the clips because I'll feel like I'm watching the movie before I get there. But for the book? NOOOOOOO!

Friday night if we get the tickets tomorrow - though I definitely have no child to use an excuse, but I figure we'll avoid most of them by going to the 10PM show.

I find I don't care about spoilers for the movie, as I know what happens - if they had clips on youtube tomorrow I'd watch them.

But DH - if I get spoiled (which will be from RL people as I'm at a conference that weekend) - someone will get hurt.

Yeah, I guess I don't mind a few spoilers for the movies - I mean, I've already read all the books several times, it's just an issue of how the screenwriter and the director interpret things. But word about the book spoilers. None for me, thx.
