Aprille is the crueleste monthe
1. We're going to have a spring snowstorm tonight and tomorrow. I am NOT looking forward to it. The forecast is for sticky wet snow, totaling 6-10 inches, and wind. NOOOOO. I really don't want to deal with snow again. Where the heck are my boots?
2. Easter weekend was okay. Nothing great. Darling daughter had her friend T1 over most of the day Saturday. On Sunday we took a little drive in the country (only about 20 miles; with gas prices around $2.80/gallon, I wasn't going to drive very far). Dinner was pretty simple. I still have a few mini-Reese's Peanut Butter cups left from my little Easter basket.
3. I managed to get 2 tickets to see the Ed Schultz radio show live on Thursday morning. Mr. Annearchy is too busy to join me there; he bought 800 lb. of books today and has to get them into his inventory. So I gave the extra ticket to my friend/coworker Pat. I'm looking forward to the show; Ed's a great progressive talker and there should be some good guests, including Barack Obama by telephone.
4. dreamcoat_mom, are you still coming down here this weekend? Let me know when we can get together. I've got a bit of a busy day Saturday, but I know I can find time for you around midday :D
