(no subject)
1. STILL no computer at work. RAAAARR!!!! I'm still using the "community" computer in the scanner cube to read my email and take a peek at the outside world. The good news is that my cubicle looks MUCH, much better. There's still one pile of stuff I need to go through, but otherwise my previous mess is much reduced. Of course now I have 2 STACKS on my desk but they're not messy, and the pages that need to be filed have filing categories written on them. Maybe I'll finish that stuff today. It's dead boring around here so I might as well do that.
2. Stomach and guts bothering me since yesterday. Annoying. Must be able to eat tomorrow! Turkey Day!! We're going to visit Mr. Annearchy's cousin south of Joliet, Illinois, and spend the night, as we usually do. What are y'all doing for Thanksgiving (those who celebrate it tomorrow)?
3. Actual news headline: USA: Bush Sends Pardoned Turkeys on Trip to Disneyland... *sporfle* Well, that could be taken sooo many ways...
4. I have this horrible ZIT just beneath the inner end of my right eyebrow. It's on the orbital bone, at the top of my eye socket, and it's kind of painful. It's so close to my eye that I don't want to use any acne medications on it, or Boil-Ease. So I'm putting hot compresses on it hoping to draw the crud out of it. It's not as bad as having an abscessed upper front tooth (which I have had) but I don't want to risk sending all those germs into my brain! I'm way too old for acne. This must be some kind of punishment. See, I told you it was TMI.
5. Did I mention that it's dead here today? Glad I won't be here on Friday. It will be worse than a tomb.
