Birthday update
I've survived the first 14 hours of my birthday. Whew. Work has been slightly less insane than yesterday. At least my co-worker A is back, so she's doing about half the stuff I had to do by myself yesterday. Hallelujah. AND she's got "duty" the rest of the week (I had it all weekend and yesterday), which means that I can leave today at 4:45, instead of 6:45 like last night. WHEEEE! I even found a few minutes to run out and buy myself some lunch (okay, just Subway, but I shouldn't have to brown-bag on my birthday, should I??) and nab some things at Walgreen's, including the very important Post-It flags for my HBP reading session. I've got 250 fluorescent-coloured flag thingies, 50 each in pink, green, orange, yellow and red. I suppose I should develop some kind of system, each colour standing for something. Hmmm. Must think on that more.
Thanks to those kind folks who posted gift-fic for me today. I've read and enjoyed three of them already, and I promise I'll read the rest before I go to bed. Y'all are much too kind to me, especially since you know that I suck at doing anything like writing fics as gifts (my feeble muse does not work that way) and thus will never return the favor :(
