Ticks
Need advice. I live in wet Massachusetts. My kitten has had two ticks so far, one the freaking size of the top knuckle of my pinky. It was gross. I had one biting my forearm today! It hurt and that was how I discovered it. After he was detached, I was bruised, sore, and it was swollen a bit. I put rubbing alcohol on it and my daughter (the Aggie) thinks both of us are okay so far.
I don't like getting bit. And I don't like the kitten getting bit. His checkup isn't for two weeks, and he hasn't had any shots yet, just a Hartz flea treatment. Anyone have any advice for keeping these awful ticks away? Anything I can use on us or do tfor the house? Any advice would be greatly appreciated PS Can't keep him inside. He was a stray and the time I kept him in, he was so depressed. So I take my chances.
