So here's a question for y'all living out in Pennsylvania: have you been having the same kind of rainy, unseasonably cool weather we've been having out here in Massachusetts this spring? I am given to understand that unusual atmospheric conditions have trapped the same rain system over New England for weeks, where it oscillates between water and land, sucking up moisture from the ocean and dumping it on us, and that it will take some kind of major weather system blasting through to knock it away. I thought it was a New England thing but I just got back from a trip to Nebraska where they report similar weather all this spring. So Pennsylvania is roughly speaking between Massachusetts and Nebraska... I suppose it doesn't matter so much for packing purposes because I bring to Pennsic everything needed from heat wave to blizzard (well, maybe not blizzard) but I'm watching the weather closely these days and if this doesn't move out between now and Pennsic, well, we'll go anyway, but I will need to be mentally and physically prepared for camping with kids in two weeks of rain. Not full of despair yet, just watchful waiting.
