Operation "screw this"
Ok, as a continuing part of my attempt to stop working for the man, I need some help/advice. Can you please give me your thoughts on the following as appropriate to your knowledge / experience base?
1) Vans
We're going to need a "van". It has to be able to take the component parts of a Yurt, possibly the components of another tent as well, up to a week's worth of camping and personal "stuff" and be OK at driving through muddy fields. A landrover strikes me as possible, but I know next to naff all about such things. The smallest van I have driven is a Transit.
Have you driven a van? What sort of van was it? What were the good and bad points? How was the "off-roading"? Anything else?
2) Festivals
Which festivals do you go / have you been to? How long was the travel time? What was the 'entrance experience' when you got there? What was the ambience like? What were the traders like? Do you think the cost of your tickets was fair for what you got? What festivals do you want to go to? What has attracted you about those?
3) Bridal magazines
What Bridal magazines have you bought? Which ones have you been given? Are some 'better' than others? What makes them better? What do you think of the content? Are some of them just full of pretty pictures of thin birds in big frocks? Did you respond to any adverts or features in said magazines?
