(no subject)
well, we went out looking for a place on monday two weeks ago, ended up finding a nice doublewide, a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom with a very large living room, and a nice size kitchen and dining room. It cost $1600 to move in, and for the past two weeks all we've had furniture wise is a pull-out couch and a playpen and some toys for Rose. We went shopping yesterday and ended up spending over $700 just on food and stuff. I thought it was funny because we bought a lot of stuff we can't cook right now, cause we don't have a microwave or a toaster. But it's alright because we're leaving for Alabama tomorrow sometime to go get all our stuff out of mini-storage. This is going to be a very hectic and expensive week. Alex is going to pay off his D.U.I. ($1300), pay Walsh the other $1000 for the car I wrecked( that's how I got my D.U.I. in the first place), it'll cost well over $500 to go to Alabama and back, and when we get back, Alex is going to pay the rent up for the six month lease.($3300) But anyways, I love our new place, it needs a little work, but once I get it all set up with the furniture, we're going to go and get a nice dining room set (cause we have a big dining room) and we're going to try and find a reasonably priced wraparound couch for the livingroom. We already have the bedroom stuff, and tables, dishes, towels, pans; we got it all, and I can't wait to get home set up. Anyway, going to Alabama is bittersweet, we both miss it and still wish we lived there, but it sure is nice to be near my dad and grandma again. I just got done cleaing house for grandma (I'm on her computer) I took my dad grocery shopping, I'm doing laundry here at grandma's cause we don't have a washer and/or dryer, and then I am going home to make home-made tacos and my dad is coming too. Well, I guess that's all for now.
