Any ideas?
I'm looking to book a gay/lesbian band/singer for des moines' gay pride day and am coming up short. Any one have favorites they think would draw well?
The following all are booked: Amy Ray, Ellis, Pansy Division, Mellisa Ferrick. Um and about 4 others I can't remember. I even tried big'uns like Le Tigre and Joan Jett.
I'm dying here. I have a bit of a budget. I can get the publicity. I just need a band. If anyone can help, let me know asap. My booking window is closing fast. (The House of Bricks in Des Moines, capacity 275ish)
I really want "an intimate evening with..." enter big name here..
I think a lesbian draw would be best, because the boys are going to be out clubbing on pride day. But I'm open to suggestions.
