HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN AND MAGGIE!!! really, it's both of your birthdays. it's megan's back in the US, but it's maggie's (the 24th) here where i am. cool, eh? azra is going to the ashlee simpson concert. i'm jealous. but i guess i do get to go to fiji tomorrow. i found $5 in change today in my laundry basket. now i am currently the proud owner of $5.45 total. sweet man. i think my dad should be putting a bit of money in my account tomorrow though. HOPEFULLY. megan and i went to sydney yesterday. it poured allll day long so we got wet. we went to the lord of the rings exhibit and it was totally fucking awesome man. i was such a dork there. they had all the real costumes each character wore, the ring they used, their weapons (you could see the dents in them), the mini sets, and lots more. it was really really cool. then we went to the sydney aquarium. and you know what that means. just so you know, i made it all the way through the death tank...er, i mean the underwater oceanarium where you could see the sharks. i got in there and started crying and i started hyperventilating and my knees started giving out and getting all shaky. megan told me i could turn back but i had to make it through. everyone was looking at me funny and they laughed. um, just so you know 3 of them tried to make a plan to attack me. one swam on the left of me, the other on the right, and one went over me. oh my god i fell to the floor in the tornado position covering my head. yeah, way to make a spectacle of yourself in sydney, alicia. way. to. go. i can't think about it anymore. i lost my return train ticket and had to buy a new one after that, just to make my day. um, i have to go read shakespeare now. i am just glad i made it out of that place alive. whew.
