vacation time... am i a klutz?
I took a few vacation days off this week. I had the weekend off of course, thurs - sunday, but had to work monday. My day was denied for monday, so I had to take tuesday and wednesday. I wasn't pleased about having to work monday, but i couldn't get around it.
so, I've been at home, watching tv - old movies - I did some cleaning, and house stuff. I was in the bathroom brushing my hair when the phone rang. I figured it was just another harrassing call (been getting calls from places and, well its a long story) anyways, I figured it was them, but then thought, no, I bet it was mom. She usually calls me while I'm in the shower or in the bathroom, never fails. lol. So, I sorta went in a rush to get out of the bathroomm, and forgot the floor is kinda slippery from the lenolem to the carpet, and yep, you guessed it... I slid. Coming around the corner from the bathroom to the hallway. I slid, andwent all out front, hands first. I hit my knee, of course. I had to laugh at myself, because I felt like Bloo from foster's when he slid down the hallway and got rug burn. i lay there for a few seconds laughing and then willed myself to get up, and I got the phone. I told my mom about it and found out that i had a rug burn on my knee, and man did it hurt and sting. Mom was coming over in a bit, so I had her bring some salve over and I put it on See, I'm a klutz!! That was pretty much the jist of my day.
