Henry has built a leprechaun trap with a coin, some shiny material, tape, ribbon, and an Eskimo cooler. He laid out his imp-catching plans to me on the drive home from work. Oh? I asked - "Do you think leprechauns are real, or fantasy?" "Carter Morrey says he caught one, so they must be real!" Apparently another friend had his kitchen covered in Silly String by unknown hands, too.
Henry just came in: "I'm pretty sure there's a leprechaun, because who left _this_ (presenting a bit of red broom straw) here?"
(No, I will not point out the rest of the broom with its red brush sitting nearby. Belief is a wonderful thing, as long as one doesn't let anecdotes and wishes carry one away from sanity.)
