just an update. met up with jason and henry in nyc in february, a very nice visit. we saw porcinea, alexanderjasper, simon, cobra & mongoose, and family. upon my return, i slipped on the grass and mud in my dooryeard (during a brief melty spell) and badly strained two ligaments in my ankle/calf. the left one, so i can still drive, anyway. i just had my first physical therapy appointment today, as it's healing more slowly than the doctor liked (being on it at work 6 days a week is probably not helping). meanwhile... i did go see pink martini and k. d. lang in concert at the university of buffalo last week, and i have a block of tickets for feist in may.
the next task is to arrange daycare for henry, and to fetch him from california sometimes in april. woo! thank goodness he wasn't here when i most incapacitated.
