Coming back from the Art of Craft, Kim says to me "I really wanted to go to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert tonight, but I'm just so exhausted. Do you know the Yeah Yeah Yeahs?"
Small spark in my brain, "I think my ex-girlfriend used to listen to them a lot. Tell me one of their songs I might know."
Kim names a song I don't recognize. Then she says, "Maps."
Flashback to Smith, nobelcom, throwing shoes at the wall, the original mixed CD's. And then 2009, the CD with maps, poems about yellow, April, Jeanette.
